Tips for BYU Students
- For BYU students, Logger Pro is available in the BYU McKay School Tech Lab at Brigham Young University.
- If you need to download the program onto one of the computers in the Tech Lab, please ask one of the front office assistants.
- If you want to work on parts of the assignment at home, you can to download a fully-functional, FREE 30-day trial version of the Logger Pro program at https://www.vernier.com/downloads/logger-pro-demo/
- Please go to the Tech Lab to use the sensors for requirement 3 of the badge. The sensors may be checked out from the front desk.
- Some sensors/probes have a USB plug, so those can be plugged directly into the computer. When the Logger Pro program is open, the sensor/probe will connect directly to the program. If you need a USB plug and it is missing, ask the TEC lab assistants to look in the other probe kits, as sometimes they are misplaced.
- Depending on your specific teaching area, you may have different requirements throughout this badge.
